A representative of "Plango Travel" will pick you up from the port of Alexandria through the cruise exit door, then you will be transferred by air-conditioned car to enjoy a trip throughout the day to El Alamein: El Alamein is approximately 110 km from Alexandria. Go to WWII Relics and Cemeteries (WWII Cemetery). The Battle of El Alamein was one of the most important confrontations in this war. Your first stop during the shore excursion from Alexandria will be at the Military Museum, including displays of weapons, military uniforms, and tanks. Descriptions of the actions of Montgomery, Rommel, and the others who participated in the battle are also shown. Visit the World War II cemeteries, located west of the city, on a small peninsula overlooking the sea.
